The Butterfly Effect: How Your Life Matters -- A Review

A friend of mine, Jasmin, tagged me in her note at Facebook and being the ever so sweet and thoughtful friend that I am (cough! cough!) I decided to read through it.

It was an excerpt from a book she was reading called The Butterfly Effect: How Your Life Matters. I read the note and was touched by what was written there. It appeared that the book would be worth taking a look at. So I went online and got the Kindle version and started reading.

“Do I really matter?”

That is how the book starts. A short question seemingly so simple and innocent, but a tough one to answer. I had to reflect about that question for quite some time.

The book is actually short (which is great) and can be read in a matter of minutes.

The book shows a chain of events that happened throughout history and concludes that every single individual, every single choice that individual makes, has an eternal effect.

It's a great book and I would advise you to read it if you can. Its one of those small books that can leave an impact. Not too heavy that you can't make heads or tails out of what's written in it and not too flighty that you would forget about it right after you read it.
