Book Review: Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver

Before I FallBefore I Fall by Lauren Oliver
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Before I Fall is a book that I find a little weird. It reminded me of an episode of Supernatural where Dean Winchester kept dying no matter what his brother Sam does and the day just keeps repeating itself no end -- Sam gets to watch his brother die every day. This book is much like that.

Sam, the lead character, is a high school senior who goes to a party with her friends and their car crashes on the drive home. She then feels like she is falling and then wakes up in the morning to find that the day is simply reset. She keeps waking up on "Cupid Day." And then the day ends with either her or another girl, Julia, dying. This goes on a few times until she realizes certain things.

A lot of people may find the book interesting, but I (just my personal opinion) am teetering between thinking it's an okay read to not liking it.
