Book Review: Requiem (Delirium 3) by Lauren Oliver

Requiem (Delirium, #3)Requiem by Lauren Oliver
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I just finished reading Requiem a few minutes ago. It is part 3 of the Delirium Trilogy. The story starts just where Pandemonium left off -- Alex is back. Lena, who has for a time believed Alex was dead, is now becoming comfortable with having Julian by her side and is now confronted with the fact that Alex is not dead and has made it into the Wilds. They are now all invalids and members of the resistance.

Lauren Oliver has managed to write an engaging book. It is an exciting read and the story unfolds through the eyes of Lena and her childhood friend Hana. While Lena is an invalid, Hana has gotten the "cure" and is about to marry her match, Fred Hardgrove the new mayor of Portland. They have been separated since Lena escaped to the wilds and is about to cross paths again.

I have to admit that this book is more exciting than Pandemonium, which in turn is more exciting than Delirium. Between Lena and Hana, I am more inclined to prefer reading the story through Hana's eyes.
