What's Up Wednesday

Happy Wednesday :)

Just in case you have not heard of What's Up Wednesday, it is a weekly meme started by Jaime Morrow and Erin Funk which allows bloggers to get in touch with others and lets them know what is going on.

Last Sunday evening, at about 6 p.m., we had a very bad squall that caused a hell of a lot of damage to power lines, downed trees, and even damaged property in some areas. Power, in our village, was restored just a few minutes ago so that is one big YAY!

We were running low on water and the power back-up's battery was also running very low. Not to mention, we were running out of underwear! (The laundry was really piling-up)

What I’m ReadingI am reading the Delia's Shadow by Jaime Lee Moyer and it is interesting reading -- a paranormal thriller.

What I’m Writing: I am writing advanced posts for my blog because I need a few days off next week

What Else I’ve Been Up To: Trying to figure out how to read all the books in my "to-read" list without having the number on that list double. (I am addicted to books and I tend to collect them faster than I can read them)

What’s Inspiring Me Now: The color canary yellow. It is just such a happy color :)

So, what's up with you this Wednesday?

Glad you survived the power outage, and hopefully, you survive that mountain of laundry.
Oh, and if you figure out how to manage that huge TBR list, could you share your secret???
