It's a Birthday -- Bames Live is Turning Two

Bames Live was born on the 7th of May, 2011. When it started, I was totally ignorant as to how a blog should work. I posted only when I thought I had something interesting to share and I constantly worried that things that were interesting to me may not be for anyone else.

Slowly (emphasis on the word "slowly"), I learned to make improvements -- some of which worked, and most did not. It took me a long time to figure out that there were certain things that need to be done if I wanted people to read my blog.

Two years on, Bames Live is still learning. It is a far cry from those famous blogs that have millions reading and following them. But, it has also become much better than when it started.

To celebrate turning two, Bames Live is having a giveaway. It is my way of thanking all you readers whether you regularly visit my blog are just clicked something by accident and found yourself here. :)

The giveaway is open to all readers worldwide (gosh, that makes it sound like I got a real following -- hehehe). It ends on May 7, 2013 so you only have a few days to join. The winner will be announced the following day.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Congratulations, Jodie.

Reading List for May 2013

Lately, my reading habits (it is actually an addiction) have gone turbo. I have been chain reading like a madwoman. Because of the escalation, there may be a need to increase the number of books in my reading list for May 2013.

I shall post my reviews of as many of the books on the list that I finish reading. You see, there are times when I start reading a book and simply abandon it due to its lack of... ah... er... um... Desirability.

All the books on this reading list are available on Amazon.com or you can simply click on the title or on the images.
