Celebrate The Small Things: 7 Feb 2014

Hello there, dear friends.

I am sure you may have noticed that I have not been as active blogging as I used to be. The thing is, I am having a really tough time trying to get back to normal after my stepmother passed away last January 11th. I guess it will take time.

Today, I am keeping up with my Celebrate Small Things post. Celebrate Small Things is a bloghop where those who joined get to celebrate all the small things they wish to celebrate -- from opening a new box of tasty cookies to managing to that masterpiece of a novel written.

There are very simple rules to the bloghop: there must be a post about what it is you are celebrating, celebrate whatever it is, and sign up on the linky so you can help others celebrate too.

Though it has been a tough first 2 months of the year; there are some things that I am celebrating this week.

  1. I managed to convince Dad to come with me to town and go to the tailors and get some new clothes stitched
  2. My first attempt at making homemade mascarpone resulted in a scrumptious tiramisu which Dad really loved
  3. We managed to give away some of my stepmother's old things to people who really appreciated them.
How about you? Anything you want to celebrate?

Here is the linky:

  1. So sorry to hear about your stepmother. It will take a while before things get back to normal. But a good piece of tiramisu is always worth celebrating!
