Celebrate the Small Things -- June 5, 2015

It is the first Friday of June and we had a slight drizzle today. It was welcomed, of course. It has been a terribly hot May this year and we needed a little respite from the heat.

This week, I am thankful for:

1. The light rain that we have been having the past two days.

2. I have managed to take our beloved canine baby, Plucky, out for a short walk almost every morning the past week. (We have a lot of space he can use to play or run around in, but nothing makes a dog happier than dragging his owner outside, smelling fallen leaves, and kicking up dirt.)

3. My latest blood test results reveal that my levels are almost normal. Yay!

4. Got my hands on John Grisham's new book (Theodore Boone: The Fugitive)

5. Got a copy of Stephen King's latest novel, Finders Keepers, too.

So how was your week? I shall be celebrating with you via a really yummy pineapple upside down cake. (hehehe)

Have a great week ahead, peeps.
